According to the statistics of offers of new apartments on the market in the Bangkok area for the first 6 months of this year, we can say that the market has started to recover again, both from the developers (supply) and from the buyer (demand), it was found that 32 new condo projects, 24,756 apartments with a total investment value were put up for sale worth more than 64 billion baht, which means an increase of 275% compared to the same period last year (18,157 apartments).

Judging by the average level of sales of new apartments commissioned in the first half of 2022, it is considered quite good. Many projects have completed sales satisfactorily. And there are still customers interested in buying.

In addition, it was found that in the first quarter there were also several condominium projects that did not officially open sales, but already offered reservations to customers before the official pre-sale and also attracted a lot of buyers' attention.

This reflects the enthusiasm of the market, which has started to improve. This is caused by such positive factors as the easing of LTV mortgage rate measures by the Bank of Thailand, measures to open the country at the end of last year led to the fact that more and more foreign tourists are constantly coming to Thailand.

It is expected that in the second half of 2022, more than 15,000 new apartments will be offered in the Bangkok area. More than 40,000 new apartments are expected to appear on the market this year. And most of them are still distributed in the city center area and outside Bangkok at the price level of 50,000-100,000 baht per square meter.
