Cancellation of Thai Pass from July 1. Thailand is fully open

At the point of entry to Thailand, travelers will only need to present a vaccination certificate, a negative PCR test result or an ATK express test result within 72 hours before the trip.

On June 17, 2022, the Thai COVID-19 Situation Management Center (CSA) approved the cancellation of the They Pass registration scheme and the US10,000 health insurance requirement for foreigners entering the country from July 1, 2022. Both requirements were initially lifted for Thai citizens from June 1, 2022.

From July 1, 2022, foreign citizens must present only a certificate of vaccination, a negative PCR result or the result of an ATC express test within 72 hours before the trip. They can be in printed or digital format. Spot checks will be carried out upon arrival at Thailand's international airports or at land border checkpoints (in 22 provinces). Unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated travelers who undergo a spot check and cannot show proof of a negative test before arrival will have to take a professional ATK test at the point of entry.

Thailand is also recognized as a COVID green zone, which means «victory» over COVID-19 in the country.

This greatly facilitates the entry of foreigners into the country. It will affect the increase in the flow of tourists in the country.
