A study of the real estate market in Bangkok and its surroundings in January-August 2022 revealed that a total of 67,683 new properties were put into operation, which is 127% more than in the same period of 2021.

As for duplexes, they are most popular in the price range of ฿3-6 million. The average sales rate is 11%.

The base price of private homes began to rise. The most popular houses were in the price segment of ฿6-10 million, with an average sales rate of 12%.

Among the premium projects, there are 41 new ones for ฿58 billion. The most popular houses cost ฿10-30 million and over ฿50 million. This is a segment that is gaining popularity, and its sales average 20%.

However, the outlook for Thailand's economy has been affected by many factors since the second half of the year, such as the impact of rising energy prices. As a result, August inflation rose to 7.86%, reaching the highest level in 13 years. In general, the inflation rate for the first eight months of 2022 was 6.14%, which affects the economy and the real estate market.
