Rawai is located on the southeast corner of Phuket Island and is a fairly relaxed and laid back compared to other beaches on the west coast. Although Rawai beach itself is not ideal for swimming, it is a good place to charter a boat to the nearby islands or stroll along the many casual pop up beach front sea food restaurants enjoying the sea view. This is further enhanced, across the road, where you will find more eateries, bars, local shops with a good selection of spas and massage facilities. Nai Harn is one of the island's most picturesque beaches, with often small fishing boats and water taxis moored up, making e delightful setting with a small island in the middle of the bay as its backdrop. The beachfront also quite peaceful thanks to the monastery which occupies a large portion of the beachfront land. Raiwai and Nai harn is also home to alarge expat community and is very popular place to live, with a more relaxed chill out vibe to the area. It is very close to the number one view scenic spot in Phuket, Promthep Cape View Point. It is famous for stunning sunsets framed by the gorgeous scenery and sugar palm trees.
