The "Pink Line electric train" between Khe Rai and Minburi opens after the successful launch of the yellow Line electric train. What is the current progress?

Not so long ago, the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) spoke and stated that information about the construction of the Pink Line electric train project, the Khaerai - Minburi section at the end of April 2023 can be summarized as follows.

1. The pink line, Khaerai - Minburi, with a length of 30.50 km, the total progress of construction was completed by 96.43%, with the progress of general construction works by 96.19% and the progress of the electric train system by 96.64%.

2. Pink line, continuation of Sirot - Muang Tong Thani station, distance 3 km, total project progress 20.41%.

The total distance is about 34.5 kilometers, with 30 stations where the electric train line passes through residential buildings, government offices, state-owned enterprises, educational institutions, hospitals and many shopping centers. When the construction of the Pink Metro Line is completed, it will help simplify and speed up trips to Bangkok and its surroundings, help solve traffic problems and reduce pollution problems in the city. It will help connect the city with suburban areas. The route is also connected by transfers with other transport systems.

The opening of new railway routes increases real estate prices by up to 10%.
