Experts from Thailand named the main trends of Phuket real estate market by June 2023. We are talking about the most popular types of real estate, the most popular layouts and the most active buyers.
The greatest demand is for real estate by the sea, in resort areas with popular beaches. Analysts especially distinguish three territories:
- Kamala Beach - real estate here is considered one of the most expensive in Phuket;
- Patong is the main resort town of Phuket, the center of the island's nightlife;
- Choeng Thale is a popular area with elite real estate and a beach with a length of 6 km.
According to the results of Q1 2023, transactions for the secondary sale of small apartments were most often made in the Phuket real estate market. One-room apartments are in the lead among the layouts, two-room apartments are in second place, and small studios are in third place. The worst selling large apartments with three or more rooms.
In Q1 2023, European citizens are leading in terms of the number of transactions in Phuket. Europeans have overtaken even Thai citizens, who occupy the second place. In third place - Chinese citizens, in fourth - Germany, in fifth - British subjects.
