The Ministry of the Interior has issued a statement extending the implementation period of the tax collection in accordance with the Law on Taxes on Land and Buildings from 2019 to 2023 for another 2 months after floods occurred in many provinces earlier.
As a result, there will be changes in the estimated prices of land and buildings in 2023. Including changing the method of determining the type of building used in calculating the value of the land plot and the base of the construction tax.
However, many provinces are currently experiencing flooding problems. Damaged land and buildings, now the situation has begun to improve. But many local authorities are still unable to conduct surveys of land and buildings. in order to thoroughly prepare for the collection of land and construction tax for 2023.
In order to collect land and construction tax, local state organizations must conduct a thorough inspection and measurements of land plots and buildings. Previously, it was planned to finish measurements before January 1, 2023.
