Bangkok government representative Suthap Sonam said that the deadline for paying land tax in the capital will be extended until July 2022. Bangkok is currently in the process of changing the database and program of the land and building tax collection system. In order for taxes to be calculated correctly, more time will be given to prepare receipts for payment. Accruals will be made in May, instead of April. In this regard, it will be possible to pay the tax until July 2022 (instead of June). The term of payment by installments, which the state provides to taxpayers, will also be changed. Installments will be paid according to the following scheme: the first part of the payment must be made in July 2022, the second installment must be made in August 2022 and the third installment in September 2022. That is, all stages of payment are shifted one month ahead.
Notifications of tax arrears will be submitted until August.
The dates of accrual and payment of tax on land and buildings in other provinces will not change.
