Sales of super-luxury condominium projects are holding positions

The Real Estate Information Center of Thailand reported that sales of super-luxury condominium projects in 2021 accounted for 27% of the total sales of residential projects, while 84% of super-luxury condominium projects were under the Residence brand, which also manages five-star hotel chains.

Sales of Branded Residence projects increased by more than 503% compared to the previous year due to increased demand, while new offers were limited. Consumer confidence in the brand and the location of projects led to a record increase in sales.

Currently, there are 19 super-luxury projects in Bangkok, of which only 7 are residence projects managed by hotel chains, which continue to attract interest from elite clients and investors with high purchasing power.

According to the analysis of the behavior of clients and investors when buying a Branded Residence project in 2021, the majority (44%) of clients choose long-term investments in order to receive rental income.

It is assumed that in 2022, super-luxury condominium projects managed by hotels will continue to receive a good response from both Thai and foreign customers looking for housing in the business district and service that meets the service standards of a five-star hotel chain.
