Sena Development has made a name for itself in the construction of condominiums and shopping malls in Bangkok. Now it has decided to enter the non-glamorous world of warehouses, because it wants to diversify his portfolio. The firm recently entered into a joint venture agreement with Leo Global Logistics, under which the pair will launch warehouses in and around the Thai capital.
In recent years, many developers have diversified into other types of real estate, such as offices, hotels, warehouses and factories.
The first project under the partnership will be a self-service digital warehouse located next to Sena Development's SenaFest shopping complex on Charoennakhon Street. Other locations in residential areas have also been identified for future storage building projects. In addition, the developer is looking for suitable land plots on which to place a large warehouse.
Origin Property has also entered the logistics market through a new joint venture with JWD InfoLogistics.
