Demand for condominiums in Hua Hin has increased since the beginning of 2022

Demand for condominiums in Hua Hin increased by more than 20% between the fourth quarter of last year and the first quarter of 2022. The market is still dominated by local property buyers, who outnumber foreign buyers by about a two-to-one ratio.

It is important to note that this resort is much smaller than Pattaya and is visited by much fewer people. Last year, there were about 1,000 unsold real estate units in Hua Hin, and many developers chose to postpone the launch of new homes for the next two years.

Studio apartments and one-bedroom apartments are the most popular among apartments in condominiums in Khaukhin, in the period from October 2021 to May 2022, the demand for this type of real estate amounted to 46.4%.

Demand for two-bedroom apartments was 38.2%, while three-bedroom apartments accounted for 12.2%. This is in sharp contrast, for example, with Pattaya, where interest in studios and one-bedroom apartments for the same period of time amounted to more than 70 percent of the total demand.

The demand for apartments in Hua Hin at a price was very diverse. 39.4% of the demand was for apartments worth 3 million baht or less. Condominiums in the price range from 3 to 5 million baht accounted for 19% of total demand, while in the price range from 5 to 10 million baht - 19.4%.
