The project of the Pink Monorail Line for electric trains on the Khae Rai-Minburi route, a 2.8 km long, was launched with a budget of ฿4.2 billion.
The overall progress of construction is 4.86%, while the progress of general construction works is 5.65% and the progress of the electric train system is 3.27%. According to the plan, the project will take 3 years and will be completed around 2025, but it is expected to accelerate construction work and complete the project in 2024.
Currently, construction work continues uninterruptedly and without delay.
The project is part of the MRT Pink Line project on the main Khe Rai-Minburi route, which will be connected to the other 4 lines of the train, namely:
- Purple Line (Bang Yai - Tao Poon);
- Red Line Commuter Train (Bang Sue - Rangsit);
- Green Line (Mo Chit - Saphan Mai - Khu Khot);
- Orange Line (Cultural Center - Minburi).
