The Chinese consumer market will fully recover in Q3

Developer Noble Development plans to launch 10 new residential projects totaling 23.3 billion baht, with more than a quarter of this amount expected to be received from foreign buyers.

The company expects to receive up to 6.5 billion baht, which is 28% of the target for this year, from foreign buyers.

The Chinese consumer market is expected to fully recover in the third quarter of this year after China reopened earlier this month.

Many wealthy Chinese want to buy a second home abroad after facing strict restrictions for a long time.

Half of the expected pre-sales to foreign buyers of about 4 billion baht will be made by Chinese citizens. This is almost three times more than the 700 million baht registered last year.

The market of Chinese buyers, which accounted for 80-85% of real estate purchases by foreigners before the pandemic, decreased to 25% last year due to quarantine in China.
