At the end of 2021, nearly 6,500 condominium apartments have not been sold yet in Cha-am. This rate was 1,016 in neighbouring Hua Hin. Real estate demand in Cha-am remains low, as buyers prefer Hua Hin, which is more popular.
Developers try to present Cha-am as an extension of Hua Hin, but with no results. At the same time, in Hua Hin, demand continues to grow.
One of the differences between the Hua Hin and Cha-am condominium markets is the apartment types that people search for. Between October 2021 and May 2022, in Hua Hin, 38.2% of the purchased dwellings were two-bedroom apartments.
At the same time, new projects have not been launched for more than a year in Cha-am. Developers with unsold apartments can try the tactic of transforming studios into multi-bedroom apartments to attract clients, meet current demand, and stand out from Hua Hin even more.
