Bangkok's new innovation district has emerged in an unexpected place

Those who have not driven past the BTS On Nut station for several years may be surprised to find out what is happening in this part of Bangkok. Recently, a surge of activity here has led to the emergence of new condominiums and several office buildings. However, one developer went even further, creating an innovative area in this previously uninteresting place.

Always ambitious developer MQDC recently introduced Cloud 11, which is positioned as Asia's largest hub for content creators. This is part of what is called the South Sukhumvit Innovation District, which also has the True Digital Park innovation complex.

Each MQDC project benefits local communities, the public and the country as it is developed using innovations, advanced technologies and concepts in accordance with the national development policy. We invested in the Cloud 11 project to create an innovation cluster for next-generation innovation and creative innovation in South Sukhumvit.

True Digital Park and Cloud 11 will, in fact, be located across the street from each other as part of the innovation district that can be found between BTS stations Udom Suk and Bang Chak. It's not the first place that comes to mind when people think of cutting-edge business, but these two mixed-use developments are changing that.

For MQDC, the key to the new project was to ensure that it complemented what was already available. Thus, while True Digital Park is positioned as a startup ecosystem, Cloud 11 is focused on the concept of "empowering creators", which focuses on becoming a hub for next-generation content creators.

In addition to office and studio space, Cloud 11 will also include two hotels, a shopping area, an event space and Bangkok's largest rooftop park. Work on the project began in 2022 and should be completed by the end of next year.
