According to a survey conducted by a well-known website, during the first six months of this year, Lat Phao district was the most popular residential area in the capital, followed by Chatuchak, Bang Khe, Xuan Luang and Lat Krabang.
These five districts are more popular among Thai residents than among foreigners. The districts have well-developed utilities, a transport network and large shopping centers are located nearby. The results correspond to last year's land valuation indicators, which showed that the price of land in Lat Phrao increased by 38%, Chatuchak - by 36%, Bang Khe - by 14%, Xuan Luang and Lat Krabang - by 11%.
The most popular types of real estate in these areas can be called apartments in condominiums at a price of about 1.35 million baht and townhouses at a price of about 2.5 million baht. The most common rent for an apartment is about 7000 baht.
