By the end of 2021, the country’s overall economic situation has improved. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the number of new infections in Thailand has been declining. In particular, public policies on investment in various projects, the opening of the country to international traffic, and the return of tourists have contributed to better changes.
According to the market review published by the Department of Strategic Research, in 2021, 10 companies became the major players in the market:
- AP;
- Pruksa;
- SC;
- Sansiri;
- Land;
- Frasers;
- Supalai;
- Origi NP;
- Ananda;
- Property Perfect.
These companies have increased their investments and put up many new projects for sale.
In particular, analysts single out the work of the developer AP Thailand Public Company Limited, which has been operating on the market since 2018. The company is strong in the market of detached houses. In 2021, its success was achieved thanks to the launch of new projects in the price range from ฿7 million ($207.7 million) to ฿15 million ($445.1 million). Pruksa Property has proved itself in the sector of low-rise projects.
In early 2022, the government, in collaboration with these companies, plans to launch several promising projects that will contribute to the country’s economic recovery.
